Every preview is one bar dry → two bars engaged → release and tail, rendered through the production engine with the preset’s canonical FX Library settings.

Dub Echo

A quarter-note dub delay on the internal echo engine with 0.6 feedback, so each regeneration passes back through a damping low-pass and returns darker instead of staying bright and digital. Tail defaults to Ring Out, letting the chamber decay naturally after release. Listen for: After the dry bar, quarter-note repeats pile up and darken behind the loop, then the feedback chamber rings out on its own across the final bar. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 50%

Ping Pong

A tighter, lighter echo than Dub Echo: eighth-note repeats with 0.4 feedback and a 40% wet default, so each hit gets a short answering bounce that clears quickly instead of stacking into a wash. Listen for: Each hit picks up a quick eighth-note answer that fades within a few bounces, and the short tail clears almost as soon as the effect releases. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 40%

Tape Echo

A quarter-note tape delay: saturated repeats with a touch of flutter that soften and round off a little more on every pass. Listen for: After the dry bar, notice how each repeat comes back warmer and duller than the source, wobbling slightly as the tape character rounds off every regeneration. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 55%

Space Echo

The same tape delay pushed harder (more feedback and flutter than Tape Echo), so quarter-note regenerations swell toward self-oscillation instead of politely fading. Listen for: Listen for the repeats building in intensity across the two engaged bars rather than fading, then drifting back down through the final bar’s tail. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 55%

Pitch Echo

A pitch-shifting delay: each quarter-note repeat returns shifted upward, so material spirals into shimmer instead of simply echoing. Listen for: Follow a single hit through its repeats: each pass comes back higher than the last, and the rising spiral keeps climbing through the release tail. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 50%

Four Tap Echo

A clean multi-tap echo: four evenly spaced eighth-note taps, each quieter than the last, with no feedback coloration, a rhythmic fill rather than a dub wash. Listen for: Count the taps: every hit trails four discrete, evenly spaced echoes stepping down in volume, keeping the groove articulated instead of smeared. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 55%

Double Delay

A dual-line delay tuned as a thickener: two short, unequal delay lines at low feedback double the signal rather than producing distinct long repeats. Listen for: Rather than obvious echoes, listen for the loop growing thicker and wider during the two engaged bars: a doubled, slapback-tight image that snaps back to a single voice on release. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 50%

DP4 Lush

The lush end of the internal dual-line BBD-style chorus engine: a slow 0.18 Hz sweep at 0.72 depth with a touch of feedback, running anti-phase in stereo so it widens without comb-filter coloration. Listen for: After the dry bar the loop turns glassy and wide, with one slow, silky sweep unfolding across the engaged bars before the image narrows back to center. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 62%

Daft Flanger

The internal resonant swept-comb flanger set aggressive: a 0.55 Hz sweep at 0.82 depth with 0.42 feedback, the French-house jet pass. Listen for: Listen for the metallic comb tearing up and down through the loop roughly every couple of seconds, the resonant feedback giving it that jet-engine whistle. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 70%

Stereo Chorus

A straightforward dual-line BBD-style chorus at 0.28 Hz with moderate 0.55 depth and zero feedback: pure anti-phase stereo widening and detune sheen, no comb filtering. Listen for: Notice the stereo image opening up and gently shimmering while the effect is engaged, then folding back to the drier, narrower source in the final bar. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 55%

Ensemble Wash

A string-machine-style ensemble on the internal chorus engine: very slow 0.16 Hz modulation at 0.68 depth, with a 70 ms attack that lets the wash bloom in rather than snap on. Listen for: After the dry bar the loop blooms into a slow, swirling, pad-like wash that drifts away smoothly once the effect releases. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

AutoPan

Cyclic stereo movement using the internal equal-power pan law at 0.5 Hz and full depth, so the signal sweeps hard across the field without any dip in loudness. Listen for: Track the loop swinging fully left to right about once every two seconds (the level stays rock steady through the sweep) before recentering on release. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 100%

Tube Tremolo

A tremolo that pulses at 0.8 depth through tube-style saturation curves rather than a plain volume LFO, so each throb adds warmth and density at its peak. Defaults to 80% wet on an eighth-note pulse. Listen for: Feel the deep eighth-note throb chopping the groove: each pulse peak lands slightly warmer and denser than a clean volume dip would. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 80%

Room Verb

A subtle short-room gesture on the internal reverb engine: small size, quick 0.35 decay, 2 ms pre-delay, and a low 24% wet default. Glue and air rather than a wash: the dry signal stays at unity, send-style. Listen for: This one is deliberately subtle: after the dry bar, listen for a soft cushion of air around the drums that vanishes almost instantly when the effect lets go. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 24%

Hall Throw

A dramatic send-style hall throw on the internal reverb engine: medium size, 0.8 decay, and 20 ms of pre-delay separating the bloom from the dry hit, at a 60% wet default with Tail set to Ring Out. Listen for: Notice the small gap the pre-delay leaves between each hit and its bloom, and how the hall keeps decaying well into the final bar after release. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 60%

Cathedral

The biggest internal reverb gesture: large size with a near-maximum 0.95 decay, 40 ms pre-delay, and a 70% wet default that fades in over 80 ms. The loop dissolves into a huge sustained wash. Listen for: After the dry bar the groove dissolves into a vast, slowly building wash, and the enormous tail is still ringing as the clip ends. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 70%

Plate Throw

A plate reverb throw: dense, bright, fast-building plate character behind a send-style dry signal at unity, with Tail set to Ring Out by default. Listen for: Listen for the dense, bright splash that jumps onto every transient the moment the effect engages, then the plate’s metallic sheen decaying through the final bar. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

Retro Verb

A retro digital reverb with the grainy, slightly crunchy character of an early-80s hardware rack unit. Listen for: Compare the reverb’s grainy, vintage-digital texture against the dry bar: snares in particular pick up that unmistakable 80s rack-unit blast. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 55%

Bright Room

An audible short ambience on the controlled internal room engine: small size, 0.55 decay, and zero pre-delay so reflections attach instantly to each hit, at a 45% wet default. Listen for: With no pre-delay the reflections weld directly onto each hit: listen for the crisp presence and air the room adds the instant it engages. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 45%

Infinite Space

A large, lower-gain wash on the internal reverb engine: 0.88 decay, 35 ms pre-delay, and a restrained 42% wet with an 80 ms fade-in, tuned to sit behind the dry signal without clipping. Listen for: Notice how the wash swells in gently under the loop rather than swallowing it, then stretches its long tail across the final bar after release. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 42%
