RMX Series

Every preview is one bar dry → two bars engaged → release and tail, rendered through the production engine with the preset’s canonical FX Library settings.

BPF Echo

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX BPF Echo: a quarter-note echo whose repeats are band-limited to the mids, with moderate feedback so they recirculate without washing out. Scene FX sets the macro intensity and Sub Param 1 narrows the band. Listen for: After the dry bar, the quarter-note repeats come back mid-heavy (top and bottom trimmed away), then thin out through the final bar. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

Echo

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX Echo, the classic throw: quarter-note repeats with heavy high-end damping, so each pass returns darker than the last. Scene FX pushes the feedback for longer trails. Listen for: Notice how each repeat comes back duller than the one before it, sinking into the tail across the final bar. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 60%

Noise

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX Noise, running on the dub-siren engine: it layers a white-noise wash over the loop at 45% wet so the beat stays in front. Scene FX sets the noise intensity, from soft air to a full blast. Listen for: After the dry bar, a noise bed swells in under the loop for two bars, then falls away on release. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 45%

Spiral Up

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX Spiral Up: a quarter-note echo with near-runaway feedback and bright repeats, so a held press regenerates into a climbing wash. Scene FX scales the spiral from a slow climb to maximum lift. Listen for: Hear the repeats stack and brighten into a swelling build across the two engaged bars, then unwind during the final bar. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

Reverb Up

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX Reverb Up: a large reverb with a long swelling decay and 30 ms of pre-delay, tuned as a riser. Space keeps blooming behind the loop the longer it is held. Listen for: After the dry bar, the room opens up and keeps swelling behind the loop, with the tail ringing on through the final bar. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

HPF Echo

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX HPF Echo: quarter-note repeats voiced bright and thin, keeping only the airy top end while the body of the loop stays put. Raising Scene FX thins the repeats further. Listen for: Listen for bright, weightless repeats floating above the groove after the dry bar, fizzing out over the last bar. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

LPF Echo

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX LPF Echo: quarter-note repeats with the damping corner set low, so echoes come back dark and sink under the loop like a dub delay. Listen for: After the dry bar, murky low-passed repeats pool underneath the beat and keep darkening as they fade through the final bar. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

Crush Echo

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX Crush Echo, routed to the beat-repeat engine at full wet: it locks the loop into a sixteenth-note stutter with a degraded, crushed edge, and Sub Param 2 piles on more dirt. Listen for: After the dry bar, the loop snaps into a crushed sixteenth-note stutter for two bars, then drops back clean on release. Settings: Division 1/16 · Quantize Off · Wet 100%

Spiral Down

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX Spiral Down: the darker sibling of Spiral Up, a quarter-note echo whose feedback wash dulls and sinks instead of climbing. Scene FX scales the descent from a slow sink to a full drop. Listen for: Hear the repeats pile up and grow darker across the engaged bars, sagging downward before the tail dies out. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

Reverb Down

Port of the RMX-1000 Scene FX Reverb Down: the same large room as Reverb Up but with a shorter decay and tighter pre-delay, tuned as a falling gesture for drops rather than a swelling build. Listen for: After the dry bar, a big but controlled space wraps the loop for two bars, then contracts quickly once the effect releases. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 65%

Cut/Add

Port of the RMX-1000 Isolate FX Cut/Add: a three-band Low/Mid/Hi isolator sharing the Equalizer engine’s deep-cut kill range, so pulling a band fully down removes it entirely. Listen for: The canonical preview is neutral: the bands sit flat, so the loop passes through unchanged; cut or boost a band in the app to hear the isolator bite. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 100%

Trans/Roll

Port of the RMX-1000 Isolate FX Trans/Roll, running on the rhythmic-gate engine at full wet: it chops the loop into grid-locked on/off slices, sixteenth notes by default. Listen for: After the dry bar, the loop turns into a transformer-style sixteenth-note chop for two bars, then flows continuously again. Settings: Division 1/16 · Quantize Off · Wet 100%

Gate/Drive

Port of the RMX-1000 Isolate FX Gate/Drive, routed to the rhythmic-gate engine at full wet: it slams the loop on and off at the grid, defaulting to sixteenth notes for a hard, stuttering pump. Listen for: Notice the full silences punched between the sixteenth-note hits during the two engaged bars: a hard cut, not a volume dip. Settings: Division 1/16 · Quantize Off · Wet 100%

Roll

Port of the RMX-1000 X-PAD Roll: a beat repeat that captures the current slice and rolls it at the Repeat Rate (1/8 through 1/1), with a bipolar Pitch control that bends rolls upward or downward. Listen for: After the dry bar, one slice locks into a repeating roll for two bars, then the loop picks up where it left off. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 100%

X-Pad Kick

Port of the RMX-1000 X-PAD Kick pad, voiced on the beat-repeat engine: it retriggers the loop in a four-on-the-floor kick pattern, with Pitch available to drop the hits lower for extra boom. Listen for: Hear the quarter-note retriggers stomp through the two engaged bars like a four-to-the-floor kick before the original groove returns. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 80%

X-Pad Snare

Port of the RMX-1000 X-PAD Snare pad on the beat-repeat engine: it stamps retriggers into backbeat positions, with build variants that tighten into sixteenth- and thirty-second-note rushes. Listen for: After the dry bar, listen for the backbeat-spaced retriggers cracking across the loop, then the pattern releasing back to the dry groove. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 80%

X-Pad Clap

Port of the RMX-1000 X-PAD Clap pad on the beat-repeat engine: retriggers land on the 2 and 4 like a clap layer, and Pitch can lift them for a brighter snap. Listen for: Count the retriggers landing on beats 2 and 4 during the two engaged bars before the loop runs clean again. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 80%

X-Pad Hi Hat

Port of the RMX-1000 X-PAD Hi Hat pad on the beat-repeat engine: it ticks retriggers at eighth notes by default, with sixteenth and triplet subdivisions for busier hat figures. Listen for: After the dry bar, an eighth-note tick of retriggers rides on top of the loop for two bars, then drops away. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 80%

Sampler

Port of the RMX-1000 X-PAD Sampler: a longer-window beat repeat that captures up to a full bar of the loop and cycles it, with Pitch able to chipmunk the capture upward. Listen for: Notice how the bar that just played folds back on itself and loops through the engaged bars, then hands back to the live groove. Settings: Division 1/8 · Quantize Off · Wet 80%

Vinyl Brake

Port of the RMX-1000 Release FX Vinyl Brake on the tape-stop engine: it pitch-dives the loop to a true standstill over the Range window using the constant-torque vinyl Brake Curve, with highs rolling off naturally on the way down and a click-free landing. Listen for: After the dry bar, the record grinds down to a dead stop and holds, then spins back up to speed in the final bar. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 100%

Release Echo

Port of the RMX-1000 Release FX Echo, the hand-off gesture: it throws the loop into a generous-feedback, medium-toned echo whose Range sets the echo window, and Hold Previous FX can keep an active effect running through it. Listen for: As the press lets go, the loop hands off into repeats that keep ringing across the final bar instead of cutting dead. Settings: Division 1/4 · Quantize Off · Wet 70%

Release Back Spin

Port of the RMX-1000 Release FX Back Spin: it snapshots the audio that just played and wheels it backward, accelerating from a standstill into a fast reverse spin, with Speed setting how hard it winds up. The spin-up and terminal stop are click-free. Listen for: After the dry bar, the beat rewinds into an accelerating backward blur, then the groove drops back in playing forward. Settings: Division 1 Bar · Quantize Off · Wet 100%
